Milhouse      Milhouse, a beautiful black and gray purebred poodle is a great little guy! We noticed that he seemed to startle very easily, considering how laid back he is. We've now had him evaluated, and we know that this little boy has cataracts - in BOTH eyes! He's only about 6 years old, and has a lot of life and love still to give. But he only has about 30% vision in each eye, and what vision he has is most likely very fuzzy. With surgery, Milhouse can live a full and happy life - with nearly normal vision! Imagine, to go from nearly blind to being able to see - in a matter of a few days!! Unfortunately, this is expensive surgery. SmallDog Rescue would love to make this happen for Mil, but we desperately need your help. To do just one eye would cost about $1,260 with the discount our vet will offer. For only $500 more, or $1,750, Mil can have pretty much normal vision in BOTH eyes. Other than the quick startle brought on by his near blindness, Mil is a wonderful boy - super freindly, loves everyone (two- or four-footed!) and loves attention.
