	Barbour adult male Schnauzer (Poodle) Barbour is a Schnoodle – a Poodle and Scnhauzer mix. Barbour is 8 years old and weighs 13lbs. He was found as a stray, his coat completely matted. He has probably lived on his own for a while, fending for himself. He’s re-learning that people are here to help and care for him, but he’s coming around quickly. Barbour is a friendly boy. 	Benji Bounce Buckram adult male Jack Russell Terrier (Mix) Benji Bounce Buckram is a sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix maybe with some Fox Terrier thrown in. He is a fun and happy dog with the typical terrier-level energy to burn. Benji does well with other dogs and loves people. He is about 3 years old and weighs 14lbs. No small children for Benji. 	Hawk adult male Beagle (Mix) Hawk, a beagle mix, arrived at SDR terrified and covered in untreated mange that was very uncomfortable for him. Hawk is one of those special dogs that understood that his life had changed for the better. Within a day he went from frightened to happy to be safe and sound. He started giving kisses to the people that rescued him from the place that let him get sick and scared. He knew these new people were looking out for him and he wanted to be in their company. Hawk is still a little wary at first, but he is quick to realize when a person wants to be friends and is happy to learn to trust them. 	Kittiwake adult female Corgi (Mix) Kittiwake is an adorable little Corgi mix! She's 17 pounds of cuteness. She gets along great with other dogs. Kittiewake is 3.5 years old. She had been picked up by animal control as a stray and may have lived her entire life outside. She does well on leash. She's a friendly girl and she's ready for a new home! 	Lizzy Linux adult female Manchester Terrier (Pure) Lizzy Linux is a beautiful purebred Manchester Terrier. She has a silky smooth black and tan coat. She is 1.5 years old and weighs 21lbs. 	J. Peterman adult male Chihuahua (Pure) J Peterman is a fortunate fellow. After 6 months of living alone in a house with 3 other dogs after their owner died and being fed by the neighbors when they could do it, he was finally turned over to rescue. J Peterman is really enjoying getting to interact with people again, he was loved and taken care of until his owner passed away. J is 7 years old and weighs 8lbs, he has a beautiful unique grey/brindle coat. He is a friendly boy that loves attention! J Peterman will need an adult-only home now and in the future. 	Mother Goose adult female Maltese (Pure) Mother Goose, a purebred Maltese, was not in the best shape when she arrived at SDR. She was covered in fleas and her hair was thinning. We are working on turning her into the lovely dog that she is. She has lived her life up to now with someone more interested in the puppies she could provide than in the companionship she could have given. 	Rita Hayworth adult female Beagle (Collie) Rita Hayworth is an adorable Beagle/Collie mix that came to SDR from a local animal control. She has a beautiful tri-color coat. Rita is 2 years old and weighs 23lbs. She is a sweet girl that is very loyal and affectionate to her special people. Rita can get a little shy in "social situations" so she'll need a patient home to help her when its time to go out on the town. At home, however, she is a fun, happy, dog. She loves to play with toys and chew on nylabones. And most of all, Rita loves to romp in the fenced-in yard and then snuggle with her foster parents for a nice, restful nap. 	Sarah Vaughn adult female Mystery (Mix) What a beautiful girl! Sarah Vaughan is our latest “pure” Mystery Mix! One of a kind, she is white with grey here and there. 	Shenango adult female Beagle (Pure) Shenango is a purebred beagle. She has a brown and white coat and is about 8 years old. Shenango weighs 30lbs. She is a very shy girl that will need a lot of time and patience to help her come out of her shell.
