GIBSON

adult male
Cocker Spaniel (Pure)

Gibson is a handsome buff and red purebred Cocker Spaniel that SDR rescued from a high kill rural animal control. Gibson is about 6 years old and weighs about 30lbs. He is a happy, energetic fellow who is thrilled at his new opportunity to find a loving, caring home. Gibson is mostly blind due to retinal degeneration, he most likely still sees shadows and shades of light. Luckily, dogs who are blind adjust very very quickly, and live normal happy lives. Gibson too, he is doing wonderfully in his foster home where the other dogs and his foster parents have been kind enough not to mention to Gibson that he has poor eyesight. He gets around like a trooper and loves the company of the other dogs and the affection of his foster parents. He learned the layout of the house in days flat, thank you very much! He is a true sweetheart.
